CfP Technical Support
Welcome to the CfP Technical support page.
Our Technical support does not stop at College. Anyone who is part of our Cfp Program has access to the on-site Technical support team throughout the core hours of College, these people include parents/careers of Students with the CfP units and of course the Students themselves.
We hope our first training event explained all you may need to know about the units and the program overall, however, we understand that ICT is a learning experience for all levels and we hope that you will come to us with any further questions or comments about the units.
At the moment we have a simple procedure that we require all members of the CfP Program to follow to report ICT related issues or Queries.
We will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible to all requests.
What can i call you about?
The following are examples of ICT related issues which we may be able to help you with.
1. Loss or theft of hardware
2. Accidental damage.
3. Reported misuse
4. Hardware related issues.
5. Software related issues.
6. Internet connectivity issues ( Connectivity to be launched prior to the summer holidays)
7. Home Hardware connectivity - this Covers peripherals such as Printers and Scanners
8. Additional software requests.
Please note that this is not a fixed list and should be seen as a guideline to help us categorise you support request.
Polite notice: The College cannot offer any support for home networking issues or problems with other home pc's.
How, Who and when to call!
How
In all cases call the College's main number and dial the appropriate extension number. Please leave a message with the College's reception if the person you are trying call is unavailable.
When calling the College, please have your Asset (Serial number) number to hand. This will help us when dealing with your request.
