This is an exiting time for the Religious Studies department, as we are looking at introducing some big changes: at Key Stage 4 we are hoping to offer both full-course RS and an ‘entry-level certificate’ for students who find it difficult to access the mainstream GCSE course. At Key stage three, a rolling program is under way, starting with Year seven in 2008 to replace our demarcated modules with a more thematic approach to the subject. A lot of money has been invested in new textbooks and interactive IT resources.
