The Launch of the Hub
Many Thanks to those who helped to make the creation of the hub possible.
The Hub is a new addition to the Dearne High and a new way of learning for our
students and the community. The hub hosts many new types of technology including
hydrologic desks with built in computers, a multi screen vista machine and a
interactive touchscreen table.
The Hub has already hosted educational events such as an Interview with a famous
author G.P Taylor the writer of Shadowmancer and Wormwood. This gave the
students a chance to ask interesting questions and create their own fantasy
book. Also The Hub has hosted a 1940's history day which made students aware of
what life was like back in the 1940's and gave the students a chance to use
various tools used back in the day.
